They were fallen angels that came on earth to “choose women” for them though it was not an ordinary something that angels are able to as they are spirit. Runes are letters. They are not directly interchangeable to the latin alphabet so you can’t just replace a letter with a rune. You write a rune for a sound. If you have a name you sound the name and then you write it as it sounds. Never double consonants and n before g goes away as well. Viking comes from the word vik which is bay. Viking is someone sailing into bays. Vikings spoke old norse and there is no magic involved. Viking = ᚢᛁᚴᛁᚴ

in most runic languages the “W” is called Wunjo, it looks like a sort of P.
The rune for J would be Jera, as far as I am aware there is no X in runic.
I suggest you google these words and I am sure you will find what you are looking for.
(i am talking about elder futhark, I am not sure about the rest)

the problem with your question is that there were different systems between clans.
as such it depends on which area you are looking for.
there is the Danish, Norse, Celtic and more I cannot say from the top of my head.
(I mean celts in north germany specifically)

viking comes from vikingr; meaning something along the lines of raider, and is not a correct term for the people as a whole.
the raiders in england were mostly Danes.
